Club Introduction

Some Club History

The club was formed in 1971, has grown to 60+ members and has its own Clubhouse. Read all about the Riley Club history here

While the club was originally for Riley owners and enthusiasts we welcome all makes, many of our members are MG, Triumph or other make owners.

Club meetings are generally held on the second Tuesday of each month at the Queensland Riley Club Shed, 38 Showgrounds Drive, Highvale 4520, Samford Show Grounds.

Members are kept up to date via the Riley Torque Newsletter that is emailed to members each month.

The club organises monthly outings for all members.

Each year, there is a National Rally organised by the States in rotation, allowing members throughout Australia to meet and exchange restoration and other ideas.

Membership

Current membership fees are a $15 joining fee plus $50 annual fee, making a total of $65. Additional family members may obtain associate membership for $15 per person. Membership is due on 1 January each year and covers membership until 31 December of the same year (except those joining after 1 October have membership for the following year). Please contact the secretary for an application or download it here

(Sunglasses optional :-) )

Spare Parts

A massive range of spare parts are available to members; new, reconditioned and used. Members requiring spares should contact David Maudsley 0402 610 661 regarding their needs. Members requiring access to club tools or the hoist should also contact David or other committee members so that suitable arrangements can be made. New Riley parts are obtained from overseas or remanufactured locally. It is a requirement that a member holds current membership before spare parts can be made available.
